To be considered for this role, you must have an exceptional desire to help people protect their assets and plan for their future, a valid NYS bar license, and a minimum of 8+ years’ experience handling estate planning, trusts, wills, probates, asset protection, Medicaid planning, guardianships, and surrogate proceedings.

The salary range for this opportunity is $175k - $250k (based on experience), and includes healthcare benefits, generous PTO/holiday time, and 401k with contribution.

Managing Attorney, Commercial Litigation

Our client, the preeminent law firm representing franchise dealers in the automotive industry for over 30 years, is looking to bring on a Managing Attorney who is well experienced in commercial litigation success, as well as strategic leadership and operational acumen in a law firm environment.

In this partnership-track role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm, bringing value and insight to business planning and culture/goal setting, staffing (hiring and mentoring attorneys and support staff), evaluate productivity and client satisfaction against metrics, and help develop new business while maintaining a personal case load.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years’ experience in commercial litigation, successful leadership/management of a law firm and staff, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a JD from a reputable, accredited law school. A background in dealership or franchise law is highly preferred.

Litigation Assistant

Our client, a full-service law firm headquartered in NYC and known for their business law expertise, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Litigation Assistant to join their litigation department. This role provides comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, with a focus on case preparation, document management, and client coordination.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Supporting commercial and real estate litigation attorneys from pre-litigation and all stages of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and filing documents in state and federal courts
Drafting and preparing legal documents, including predicate notices, pleadings, and correspondence
Tracking deadlines and maintaining litigation calendars
Serving as a liaison with clients, courts, and external parties
Coordinating scheduling of meetings, court appearances, and depositions
Performing general administrative tasks, including document filing, eFiling, data entry, information/document management, and file organization

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in litigation support (preferably in commercial and real estate litigation) and a strong understanding of the litigation process and legal terminology (particularly in real estate litigation matters). Equally important are strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent written and verbal communication skills (including proofreading and cite-checking), exceptional organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Relativity.

The salary range for this opportunity is $50k-$60k (based on experience), and includes medical/dental/vision package, commuter benefits, 401k with contribution, and generous PTO.
